Perimeter awareness is crucial to maintaining the safety of an academic campus environment; in a potentially life-threatening situation, awareness buys you time and time buys you options.
iAware Campus integrates with existing camera infrastructure to extend its protection well beyond the physical boundaries of the geographical campus, continually evaluating actors, vehicles and objects in view of cameras on the campus perimeter to identify malicious intent activities that may develop into active threats, developing a zone of awareness around the campus.
Concurrently, iAware Campus provides real-time analysis of all monitored on-campus areas, providing facial recognition of individuals on campus from a database of authorized individuals, with the system identifying the image, description and location of non-registered or watch-listed persons who have entered the campus and alerting campus security or law enforcement.
Our behavior predictive algorithm is constantly monitoring the entire campus, improving safety by evaluating all video streams for gun detection, knife detection, dispute detection, panic detection, anomaly detection (identifying abnormal behavior that might otherwise go unnoticed, such as wrong direction detection for vehicles and actors), specific movement detection (such as line crossing, loitering, person running, etc), unattended object detection and a host of other potential threats.
